Perseverance

Business is about winning or persevering. And that's not always easy to do.

I’ve just read Tom Selleck’s biography.  He auditioned for 10-12 years for bit parts before becoming Magnum PI.  He talks about persistence and “pressing on”, describing the many times he played fifth and sixth banana before he became a leading man.

Perseverance is defined as continuing despite setbacks, difficulties or delay in achieving success.  It’s a quality that’s pretty uncomfortable to live through.

Every time Weka auditions for a listing and doesn’t get it, we know we need to persevere.  Focus on our purpose – to provide a genuine alternative for clients who recognise that paying a commission of 2.75%-3.25% plus GST plus marketing is hard to justify for the effort involved in selling their property.

Business is about winning or persevering.  And bananas are a great source of potassium, antioxidants and fiber.  Even the fifth or sixth ones.
